“The Bigwigs’ Bad Hair Day” Published In HIGHLIGHTS
My latest short story “The Bigwigs’ Bad Hair Day” is in this month’s issue of Highlights For Children. The lively and comical artwork was done by Susan Batori, a Hungarian children’s book illustrator and graphic designer.
The Bigwigs think they’re the most important people in the world because of their outrageous beehive hairdos, but the only attention they seem to attract is the attention of bees. Which is not a good thing, as the Bigwigs soon find out.
“The Bigwigs’ Bad Hair Day” is one of several short stories I’ve written for Highlights. They’ve also published a few of my poems. Highlights is one of the most widely acclaimed children’s magazines in the country.
